Field Day Festival 2011

"Psychedelic fete" at London's Victoria Park - I go to this one every year, always full of interesting bands and DJs, always fun and always raining..

My dropbox link at the bottom contains a lot more images from the festival.

reflections

I've always been interested in reflections in photography; there is usually juxtaposition but I often like the degradation in quality in both reflected image and background. Sharp focus can actually take away something from the image - the challenge of creating a technically "bad" picture in order to achieve something interesting can be immensely rewarding.

Although I don't particularly love this picture as a photo, the spontaneity of it and the bad composition actually make it much more interesting to look at.
